Over the past couple of years, I have started adding a mixed metal collection to my offer offerings. This collection features Solid 14 karat yellow gold bezel and details in combination with the sterling bands and back plates. Using the two metals together creates a contemporary feel for all jewelry lovers alike. These rings feature some very special gemstones, like tourmaline, Australian opal,fire opal, Garnet peridot and turquoise. This collection of rings is now one of my favorite collections to make, and I have expanded into different offerings and different styles also including my wide hammered rings with the gold details on top.  I begin my ring making process by hand selecting each stone at one of our annual gem shows in Tucson Arizona. Here I am able to shop from vendors from all over the world. My stones, gems, fossils and everything I set is what drives my initial inspiration. I take so much pride in picking out a variety of gems for all of my projects and I hope you love them as much as I do! After deciding which stones to use the metal smithing process begins. Using traditional techniques I saw, shape, sand, file, set and polish each ring with my own two hands. It’s a labor of love I sharing with my community. All my metal is sterling silver .925 and fine silver .999 for the bezel unless it is a part of the mixed metal collections which in addition to the silver feature solid 14k yellow gold.
