This Blazar x HGJ Collaboration ring features both mine and my husbands metalsmithing skills in one ring. He begins with a wax carving that he created himself - there are several steps I’m going to skip but his sand casting technique creates truly one of kind rings that are heavy solid cast sterling silver. After cleaning up the cast ring, I am presented with this blank canvas of silver to engrave on, set stones and just add any kind of details that I feel called to add!
This ring feature two hand engraved skulls on top of a traditional style signet ring. Centered in between the skulls is a star set 3mm garnet. Each side holds a symbol - one side an engraved knife with a blue sapphire representing loyalty and protection and on the other side a lightening bolt with a Citrine representing strength and life. This ring was such a joy to make. I’ve even made a few custom versions too. This one is a size 11.5
