This Blazar x HGJ Collaboration rings features both mine and my husbands metalsmithing skills in one ring. He begins with a wax carving that he created himself - there are several steps I’m going to skip but his sand casting technique creates truly one of kind rings that are heavy solid cast sterling silver. After cleaning up the cast ring, I am presented with this blank canvas of silver to engrave on, set stones and just add any kind of details that I feel called to add!
This ring is interestingly carved - almost a slice of a ring, one side features engraved flowers and scroll pattern along with a very dark blue sapphire where I’ve gone and used the prongs for this ring to look like flower petals. The other side is completely smooth and has a beautiful mirror finish. Size 8.
