This Blazar x HGJ Collaboration rings features both mine and my husbands metalsmithing skills in one ring. He begins with a wax carving that he created himself - there are several steps I’m going to skip but his sand casting technique creates truly one of kind rings that are heavy solid cast sterling silver. After cleaning up the cast ring, I am presented with this blank canvas of silver to engrave on, set stones and just add any kind of details that I feel called to add!
This ring is carved in an offset style reminiscent of a signet ring, but with a contemporary twist. There have been two raw aqua Montana sapphires cast in place on the ring, and then I went in and Starset some small cubic zirconia for a little sparkle, both sides of the ring have scroll engraving. size 7.
