Blazar Jewelry is my husbands jewelry line where he creates stunning one of kind sand cast sterling rings that are organic, chunky and experimental. He begins with a wax carving and then presses it into a specially formulated type of clay. After removing the wax carving he pours molten sterling into the negative space of the clay.
This ring features a second technique called “cast in place” where he carefully places gemstone in the clay before pouring the molten silver. The silver then forms around the gemstones.
